There are no onee-san like this IRL.

Not saying that there aren’t exceptions to this rule, but by the by and large, the last thing any older sister wants to do with her time is hang out with her younger brother’s snotty little friends.

Well…there were good and bad things about this episode, lets say.

(also, just as a note, since the latest episode of technobabble pirates was filled with scientific jargon that I didn’t understand in the least, I’m bundling all the episode reviews together until the plot actually finds its way home from whatever drunken party it was away at. In other words, no Mouretsu Pirates post this week.)

Inu x Boku SS 3 (Now it’s a soap opera about demons!)

BEST EPISODE YET! I have to say, through the course of about 20 minutes, my view of Ririchiro completely reversed. How is that possible, you ask? Well, let me tell you.

So this episodes really started out slow. When I found out Ririchiro was going “back to school” my expectations for this episode plummeted. However, I decided to give it a chance anyways, because the opening for this episode actually made me feel some sympathy for her. Talk about a tough childhood… XD The school scene was pretty lame, but things really picked up after that.

Ohhhhh!!!! (jumps up and down) Caught in the act, you dirty Soushi, you!

After that, I was pretty pumped. I was like, “It’s a soap opera about demons!” (giddy look) Don’t worry though. It’s not. (sighs) Of course, Ririchiro freaks out, and if you ask me, completely overreacts. She “fires” Soushi, because “she had no idea he was so filthy.” Now things are getting exciting!

So I heard you like umbrellas… (Anazaa 3)

Okay…her eye is a dolls eye.

….so what? Isn’t that basically the same as a normal glass eye anyways? I like how she looked all smug taking off that eyepatch, yet even the main character was relatively unimpressed.

The thing that makes horror scary is when its unexpected. Even simple jump scares take advantage of your not knowing when exactly something is going to happen. The most obvious reason why Anazaa fails to impress is because it’s so predictable. Gee, dolls suck out your souls? Never heard that one before!

Can we just kill off Kai already? (Ano Natsu 3)

Sorry guys, still getting used to not procrastinating and actually doing something productive with my time (i.e. this blog), so the post for Another might take another day or so (dammit, I promise to be more punctual as time goes on). But to keep you busy in the meantime, I have Rinon’s Escapades Ep 3!
